Yarrenyty Arltere Artists have been announced as the next cohort of Indigenous Fashion Projects Pathways Program for 2025–2027. The program supports First Nations fashion designers to build sustainable fashion projects, fostering visibility, industry access, and long-term leadership across the Australian fashion landscape. The program focuses on community, connection and shared learning, as a First Nations-led model, grounded in respect, reciprocity, and real-world application.
Renowned for their richly hand-stitched soft sculptures and distinctive textile practice, Yarrenyty Arltere Artists expansion into fashion marks a transformation of community narratives into wearable art. This inclusion affirms the collective’s ongoing innovation, creative leadership, and the strength of their intergenerational practice. Yarrenyty Arltere are the first ever Art Centre participant.
